What happens at SPF?

The Market

The SPF Small Press Fair market takes place in-person over two days in November, from Noon-6pm. Exhibitors from all over the state of Florida and beyond congregate to show, sell and exchange all kinds of print, book and zine media. An online gallery of exhibitors is listed each year for folks to browse and follow up with folks. Live demos, workshops, artist talks, cold refreshments, steamrolling and food trucks are all on site.

The SPF Market is free and open to the public to attend. Free parking available. Most exhibitors take cash, credit, some form of e-payment and occasionally a good trade.

The Steamroller

SPF includes a larger-than-life steamroller printing event. Each year local and visiting artists work for months on large scale blocks to bring them to SPF and print them right before your very eyes!

Interested in participating in this year’s steamroller printing extravaganza? Print a proof of your print at SPF with the steamroller and the crowds (paper and ink included) and then receive 4 free hours of unassisted studio time at SPF Shared Print Fac to edition your block before the end of the year. Contact connect@smallpressfair.org for more info.

Live Printmaking Demos

Live printmaking demonstrations at SPF share the experience of some of our favorite, local and national master printers at work using classical, traditional and contemporary printing technologies and techniques.
